Computer Aided Drafting Technologies, A.A.S.


This program trains the student to utilize computer-aided-drafting and technical drawing skills to interpret and analyze engineering and design concepts. The curriculum emphasizes drafting skills and standards (mechanical, civil and architectural) and includes fundamentals of mathematics, science, problem solving and communication. The program allows students to select a few specific electives within their interest. Typical employment opportunities are CADD technician, detailer, technical illustrator and engineer’s assistant.
