Emergency Services - EMS Option, Workplace Certificate

This certificate program prepares the student for an entry-level position in the pre-hospital and clinical healthcare environments. Along with the Emergency Medical Technician Certification course, this program offers courses in business and communications. These additional skill sets, outside of the practitioner certification, prepare students to pursue career opportunities or to further their education while working in the healthcare field. Employment opportunities can include hospital emergency departments, ambulance services, and similar positions.

1 Students will receive 7 credit hours toward the completion of this degree for an approved Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. Guidelines for the acceptance of the certification can be obtained from the Director of Records and Registration.
