Computer Aided Machining Technology (340)
Associate in Applied Science Degree

This program provides state-of-the-art skills and techniques in computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) and computer numerical control (CNC) programming to enable students to practice as CAM/CNC technicians. Fundamental principles of mathematics, science, computer-aided manufacturing, CNC programming, problem solving, and communications are demonstrated. Computer-aided drafting (CAD) is an integral part of this program. Employment opportunities for the graduate include CNC Machinist, CNC Programmer, Application Programmer, CNC Operator/Programmer, CNC Programmer/Planner, and CNC Service Representative.

NOTE: Courses listed in the first/third semester will be scheduled for the fall; second/fourth semester courses will be scheduled for the spring. The student is encouraged to use the curriculum planner to keep track of courses taken and those still needed.
