Early Childhood Education (Pre K-4), A.A. - Program Competencies

The student/graduate will be able to:

• Conduct research to identify various discipline models for the early childhood classroom that supports personal beliefs for future implementation. 
• Examine one’s personal philosophy of education and pedagogy as it relates to class content and discussion through written reflection of authentic observational experiences. 
• Provide a thorough description of his/her beliefs about the roles of students and teachers, the purpose of curriculum, effective teaching methods, and the importance of subject matter through a statement of educational philosophy.
