MATH 100 - Intermediate Algebra 3 credits (3 lecture) This course is the study of real numbers and operations with polynomials. Other topics include linear equations and inequalities, systems of equations in two variables, solving equations by factoring, exponents, complex numbers, the quadratic formula, and rational equations. This course meets the General Education Competency of Quantitative Reasoning (QR).
Prerequisite(s): Pass MATH 090 or MATH 091 with a “C” or better or appropriate score on placement test.
