CHEM 100 - Descriptive Chemistry4 Credits (3 lecture, 2 lab) This course is designed to introduce students to the basic concepts, procedures, and applications of chemistry to the world in which they live. This course is for non-science majors, pre-nursing students, and those preparing for the sciences. This course meets the General Education competency of Scientific Reasoning (SR).
Prerequisite: MATH091 or concurrent registration. Students must be eligible for enrollment in ENGL101 based on plcmt. test scores; or Cs or better in ENGL029 or ENGL030 and/or ENGL034 or ENGL035, as required; or transfer credits meeting or surpassing ENGL101 prereqs.
