METR 111 - Physical Metrology

3 Credits (2 lecture, 3 lab)
This course is a study of physical metrology emphasizing the theory and proper use of applied mechanical measurement equipment. The intent is to develop the student’s interest and understanding of physical metrology along with a thorough knowledge of laboratory technique. Note: Field trips may be required. Spring semester only.
Corequisite: PHYS 102.
Prerequisite: METR 110.
