COMM 113 - The Art of Black and White Digital Photography

3 Credits (2 lecture, 2 lab)
This course develops foundational skills of digital photography, explores the artful capture of black and white images, and provides a knowledges base for further treatments in photo refining software. Photo composition for black and white images, digital photo enhancements, and image evaluation will be presented through lecture, and hands-on assignments.Note:  

Note: Camera phones and other mobile devices with cameras are not permitted for use in this course. Recommended camera types are as follows: point and shoot, bridge, MILC (mirrorless) and DSLR. For best results, your camera should have a resolution of at least 8 megapixels.
