PNUR 110 - Practical Nursing I

This course introduces students to principles of nursing practice as well as medical/surgical disease pathophysiology. The focus is on providing basic nursing care to individuals in a variety of health care settings within the role of practical nursing. The student learns basic skills and builds confidence to practice nursing in a safe manner. Clinical experiences are obtained in a variety of health care settings. 6:16:5
Corequisite: PN Pharm I, BIOL 131, and PSYC 201
Prerequisite: Admission to the Nursing Program
