COMM 111 - Electronic Art and Design II 3 Credits: (3 lecture)
Course Description This class is a continuation of Electronic Art and Design I. Students will expand their skills at a higher and more professional level of proficiency than was possible in Electronic Art and Design I.
Note Fall semester only.
Prerequisite COMM 110 with a “C” grade or higher.

Objectives The student will be able to
A. Utilize student-identified assorted program tools available to the electronic artist.
B. Combine a number of the electronic tools into their computer art and design.
C. Develop a series of portfolio and quality computer art and design pieces.
D. Apply design sophistication in every assignment.
Content A. Advanced techniques of scanning, correcting and enhancing photographs
B. Advanced creative art applications
C. Combining imported art and scanned photography to produce electronic montages
Student Evaluation Evaluation will be based upon tests, student presentations, and creative projects.
