OADM 115 - Microsoft® Publisher 3 Credits: (3 lecture)
Course Description This course provides a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft® Publisher and its capabilities to efficiently create letterheads, business cards, envelopes, flyers, newsletters, brochures, and other specialty documents. Emphasis will be placed on desktop design principles and identification of audience, purpose, content, and publication of documents.
Note Spring semester only.
Corequisite OADM 107 or COMP 210.

Objectives The student will be able to:
A. Create visually appealing documents efficiently.
B. Apply appropriate editing, formatting, and styles to documents.
C. Utilize advanced formatting commands in Microsoft® Publisher.
D. Employ integration tools to incorporate Excel charts and tables, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations into Publisher documents.

Student Evaluation Objectives A through D will be assessed through textbook and simulation software assignments, application and written tests and/or quizzes, and a comprehensive final exam.
