PHED 138 - Badminton 1 Credits: (3 lab)
Course Description This course designed for the student who is seeking a physical activity with the major objective being lifetime recreation and improving the level of individual fitness. The emphasis is placed on fundamental skills, game strategy, and the carryover value of recreation throughout life.

A. Demonstrate the correct racket grips for the forehand and backhand.
B. Apply knowledge of the badminton rules, strategies, and position of play for single and doubles in a competition.
C. Compete in matches with students of similar ability.
