DRFT 116 - Technology Applications with Excel

1 Credits: (1 lecture, 1 lab)

Course Description
This course introduces the study of microcomputer programming in Microsoft Excel. Programming assignments emphasize technical applications. Industrial problems that require technical computer programming solutions are incorporated in the programming assignments whenever possible. This course meets the General Education competencies of Technological Competence (TC) and Critical Thinking (CT).

 

Note Fall semester only.

Corequisite MATH 101 or MATH 117 or permission of the instructor.

Student Evaluation
Objectives A, B, C, D, E, F, and G may be evaluated using a combination of homework, examinations, and a comprehensive final examination. The comprehensive final must be worth at least 20% of each student’s final grade.
