AHEA 225 - Medical Coding Certification Preparation 3 Credits: (2 lecture, 2 lab)
Course Description This course prepares students to take certification exams offered by professional coding organizations. Students will review medical coding guidelines and examination strategies.
Prerequisite Completion of 32 credits in the program with at least a “C” average and permission of the instructor.
