Course Description This course is designed for the student wishing to explore table tennis as a lifetime recreational activity. The student will learn the fundamentals of the game and improve his or her skills.

A. Perform the fundamental skills of table tennis.
B. Apply knowledge of the rules in a competitive situation.
C. Describe the different offensive and defensive strategies of play for singles and doubles.
D. Demonstrate the basic grips and demonstrate individual skills in forehand, backhand, and serve by using the critical elements of each skill.
