COMM 212 - Electronic Layout and Design II 3 Credits: (3 lecture)
Course Description In this advanced electronic layout and design class, the student will build on the skills learned in the previous class with the addition of developing and importing art. The students will also learn what printers require of electronic files when submitting them for printing.
Note Fall semester only.
Prerequisite COMM 112 with a “C” grade or higher.

A. Correct student-scanned photographs.
B. Import art and photographs into a professional-grade desktop publishing program.
C. Print student-designed creative layout projects for portfolios.

B. Advanced techniques of layout and design
C. Preparing files for importing into a desktop program
D. Design of: advertisements, newsletter, personal logo and letterhead package
