COMM 244 - Electronic Multimedia 3 Credits: (3 lecture)
Course Description Designed for the advanced graphic design student, this course will build on what the student already knows in photography, electronic art and design, and electronic layout and design. The focus will be on incorporating the available professional grade technology as a means of producing presentation materials.
Prerequisite COMM 202, COMM 111, and COMM 212.

Objectives The student will be able to:
A. Produce a Power Point slide show with the current technology available to the student.
B. Produce a synchronized photographic slide show, combining slides and music, narration where appropriate.
C. Produce a photo essay that includes current equipment technology.
D. Professionally present his or her product to classmates.
E. Create a portfolio which demonstrates his or her ability in electronic multi media presentations.
Content A. Advanced functions of a 35 mm camera and peripheral gear.
B. Functions and use of advanced electronic photographic equipment.
C. Professional grade computer programs that are applicable to Electronic Multi Media.
D. Professional grade computer electronic presentation programs and equipment.
E. Power Point Slide Shows.
F. Professional presentation standards.
