COMP 216 - PC Management Techniques II 4 Credits: (3 lecture, 3 lab)
Course Description This course continues with computer skills and concepts that were learned in COMP 215 (PC Management Techniques I). Special attention is given to troubleshooting common laptop hardware and software problems, replacing common laptop hardware, troubleshooting common networking issues with desktops and laptops, and troubleshooting common printing issues with desktops and laptops.
Note Fall semester only.

B. Demonstrate the procedures to troubleshoot common laptop hardware and software issues.
C. Upgrade internal laptop components.
D. Support peripheral devices to laptops.
E. Utilize hardware and software manuals to research topics.
F. Install common networking components related to desktops and laptops.
G. Demonstrate the procedures to troubleshoot common networking issues related to desktops and laptops.
H. Install common printers.
