COMP 277 - Cybersecurity I 3 Credits: (3 lecture)
Course Description This course will provide a comprehensive overview of cybersecurity. Students will learn security concepts and then apply them to a given scenario. The goals of this course are to prepare students to study for one or more of the computer industry security certifications, take TestOut® Security Pro Certification as the Final Exam, and to take the Security+ certification exam on their own if they choose. Students should have a solid understanding of computer operating systems and networking prior to taking this course.
