MATH 091 - Preparatory Algebra 3 institutional Credits: (3 lecture)
Course Description This course is designed as a review of basic arithmetic operations with rational numbers and an introduction to algebra. Topics include properties of numbers, operations with rational numbers, integers as exponents, solving linear equations, applications of linear equations, operations and factoring of polynomials, and graphing and construction of linear equations.
Prerequisite Placement exam.

Student Evaluation Evaluation is based on homework, exams, departmental mid-term exam and comprehensive departmental final exam.
