MATH 090 - Developmental Algebra 4 institutional Credits: (4 lecture)
Course Description This course is designed as a review of basic arithmetic operations with decimals and fractions and an introduction to algebra. Topics include properties of numbers, operations with integers, fractions and decimals, basic percent problems with applications, integers as exponents, solving linear equations, operations and factoring of polynomials, and graphing and construction of linear equations.
Prerequisite Placement exam.

E. Identify algebraic properties and their use.
F. Simplify algebraic expressions.
G. Graph and construct linear equations.
H. Simplify integer exponents expressions.

Student Evaluation Evaluation is based on homework, exams, departmental mid-term exam and comprehensive departmental final exam.
