OADM 115 - Microsoft® Publisher3 Credits: (3 lecture)
Course Description This course provides a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft® Publisher and its capabilities to efficiently create letterheads, business cards, envelopes, flyers, newsletters, brochures, and other specialty documents. Emphasis will be placed on desktop design principles and identification of audience, purpose, content, and publication of documents.
Note Mac and Chromebook computers ARE NOT recommended for this course due to software required in the course. A computer with a current WINDOWS operating system is highly recommended for off-campus work. Spring semester only.
Corequisite OADM 107 or COMP 210.

Objectives The student will be able to:

C. Utilize advanced formatting commands in Microsoft® Publisher.
D. Employ integration tools to incorporate Excel charts and tables, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations into Publisher documents.

Student Evaluation Objectives A through D will be assessed through textbook and simulation software assignments, application and written tests and/or quizzes, and a comprehensive final exam.
