COMP 205 - AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE) Certification

3 credits (2 lecture, 2 lab)
The goal of the course is to prepare individuals to take the ACE certification exam - a leading computer forensic certification. This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to configure and effectively use Forensic Toolkit (FTK), FTK Imager, Password Recover Toolkit (PRTK), and Registry Viewer. Students will also use AccessData products to conduct forensic investigations on Microsoft Windows systems, learning where and how to locate Windows system artifacts.
Prerequisite(s): COMP 242 and COMP 244 or permission of the instructor.
