This program prepares students to be technical problem solvers in industry. Students learn and apply skills and techniques used in advanced technology manufacturing systems to convert materials into useful products.   Employment opportunities for the graduate include positions such as Manufacturing Technician, Production Planner, Quality Assurance Technician, Technical Service Representative, Robotic Technician, or Manufacturing Associate Manager. This is a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) program.

Program Competencies

The student/graduate will be able to:

  • Identify how specific manufacturing processes and materials are employed during product manufacture.
  • Apply critical thinking, mathematical, scientific, analytical, and computer skills to solve industry-based technology problems.
  • Demonstrate teamwork skills.
  • Apply quality tools to investigate and solve industry-based problems.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the application of computers to control industrial processes and equipment.

Minimum - 64 credits
