1 Calculus I and II (MATH 221, MATH 222) OR College Algebra (MATH101) and Trigonometry & Functions (MATH102) may be substituted for Technical Mathematics I and II (MATH 117, MATH 118).
2 **NIMS Credentials to satisfy the Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programming (MECH 114) requirements include: Measurement, Materials and Safety (MMS), CNC Milling-Setup/Programming, and CNC Turning-Setup/Programming Level I credentials.
3 Physical Wellness is highly recommended.
4 Technical/Business Electives include: BUSN or CHEM or COMP (excluding COMP 210) or ELEC or MECH or METR or PENG 103 or PHYS. Note: Highly recommend Advisor approval.
5 Program advisor must approve choice of technical elective from the areas of computer programming, electronics, drafting, metrology, mechanical technology, or petroleum/natural gas.
6 **NIMS Credentials to satisfy the Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) Programming (MECH 115) requirements include: Measurement, Materials and Safety (MMS), CNC Milling-Setup/Programming, and CNC Turning-Setup/Programming Level 1 and CNC Milling and Turning Level II credentials.
**Butler County Community College does not offer coursework that leads to NIMS certifications.
Note: Job Readiness (GENL 111) is highly recommended for students in this program during the Sophomore year.
