The Associate in Science Degree in Physical Education is created to provide the basic coursework necessary to transfer to a four-year institution to earn a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education. In this program, the student will learn to teach K-12 students about the importance of physical activity and health by introducing children to fitness options and sports that can benefit them throughout their lives. Successful completion of this program may lead to professional licensure. Licensure may be global, national, or state-specific. This program meets requirements for the State of Pennsylvania. Requirements for other states may vary.
