Computer Information Systems - Web Site Development Specialist (303D)
Associate in Applied Science Degree
This program provides training in web site development with an emphasis on the application of programming and graphic design principles to the creation of web pages. Students will learn to design web pages using both programming languages and software applications. A graduate of this program seeks employment as a Web Designer or Web Programmer.
Courses listed in the first/third semester will be scheduled for the fall; second/fourth semester courses will be scheduled for the spring.

Program Competencies
The student/graduate will be able to:
- Construct applications that use Graphical User Interface (GUI) components to provide access to relational databases.
- Construct images for web pages using graphic design software packages.
- Modify developed web pages by using HTML code.
- Integrate software packages into various elements of web page design.
