This program is designed to provide the basic coursework necessary for transfer to an Early Childhood Education (Pre K-4) baccalaureate program at a four-year institution. The state of Pennsylvania has stringent teacher certification guidelines; therefore, the College recommends that all students adhere to the program planner sequence as much as possible. Each four-year institution determines which BC3 courses are acceptable in transfer. Graduates in the associate program can seek employment in the education field as teacher assistants or teacher aides.
