Associate in Arts Degree

The Psychology Program, leading to an Associate in Arts Degree, is designed to prepare students to continue the study of psychology at a four-year institution with a background to sufficiently prepare them for more advanced study. Each four-year college or university determines which BC3 courses are acceptable in transfer. Students should contact the institution for assurance prior to registering for the course at BC3.

The Psychology elective should be selected from the following: PSYC 223 Social Psychology, PSYC 202 Educational Psychology, PSYC 208 Health Psychology, PSYC 220 Psychology of Human Relationships, PSYC 245 Abnormal Child & Adolescent Psychology, PSYC 242 Understanding Children’s Play, PSYC 230 Introduction to Behavioral Science Research, or PSYC 210 Psychological and Sociological Bases of Sport.
