Chemistry - Duquesne University Track (207B)
Associate in Science Degree

This Associate Degree is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from Duquesne University.  For those admitted into Duquesne’s program, an additional four years will be required at Duquesne after completion of the associate’s degree. In each academic year, Duquesne will admit up to two students who meet the criteria listed in the below note. At the discretion of Duquesne, more than two students may be admitted in any given year, depending upon space availability.

DUQUESNE NOTE:  Candidates for admission to Duquesne University School of Pharmacy are required to:  earned the Chemistry-Duquesne Track associate’s degree; have earned a minimum grade of “C” in all BC3 undergraduate courses; have maintained a minimum overall GPA of 2.75 or better in all BC3 undergraduate courses (achieve a GPA of 3.00 or higher for all BC3 science and math courses–preferred); achieve a composite PCAT (Pharmacy College Admission Test) score of 375 (400 preferred) or better; participate in an interview process with the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy faculty; submit a letter of recommendation from the BC3 faculty; provide evidence of leadership potential and commitment to the pharmacy profession.
