Workplace Certificate

This certificate program is designed to prepare students to work in an entry-level position in drug and alcohol treatment centers, sober living houses, detox centers, women's shelters, or methadone maintenance centers. Students will gain an understanding of what addiction is, the different types of addiction, how to work with those who have substance and process addictions, the various models of treatment, and the effects that addiction have on society. *This certificate is not associated with the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
