Computer Science - Transfer Option (300)
Associate in Science Degree

The degree in Computer Science - Transfer Option is intended to allow the student to complete the first two years of basic course requirements for most baccalaureate degrees in the computer field. The Computer Science - Transfer Option curriculum has set requirements at a minimum in order to give students the chance to choose courses that are required at their prospective transfer institutions.

¹ The mathematics elective must be either Elementary Statistics (MATH 107) or Calculus and Analytic Geometry (MATH 221).

² The science electives must be a lab-based 8 credit SEQUENCE of two courses. Students whose intended four-year institution requires that the two science courses be taken in two different disciplines may request a waiver from the Dean of the Business Division.
