Associate in Applied Science Degree

This program is designed to prepare students for careers in the digital communications field as digital audio/sound mixers and digital video editors. The program provides students with a solid foundation in the basics of the science of visual and digital communications and is designed to provide entry-level job education. Graduates of the program may find work in fields requiring the skill set that would enable them to become part of a television or radio production crew, among many avenues of production; such as videographers, animators, editors, post production editors,and audiographers.

NOTE: Courses listed in the first/third semester will be scheduled for the fall; second/fourth semester courses will be scheduled for the spring. The student is encouraged to use the curriculum planner to keep track of courses taken and those still needed. In some cases, one or more courses may be taken in a different order than indicated on the planner. However, individual course prerequisites must be observed.
