ACCT 221 - Computerized Accounting I 3 credits (3 lecture) This course is designed to enable the student to maintain accounting records and produce reports employing a computerized accounting program that is used commercially by small- to medium-sized businesses. While an understanding of manual accounting is required, the course assumes that the student has never used a computerized accounting system and does not possess an extensive knowledge of personal computers or the Windows operating system. Prerequisite(s): COMP 210 or consent of the instructor; and either ACCT 110 or ACCT 203.
