ENGL 235 - Literature and the Arts 3 credits (3 lecture) Literature and the Arts is a chronological study of the influences of Western literature on other art forms, especially music and graphic arts. The course will focus on major trends in the four culture-epochs, Greco-Roman, Middle Ages, Renaissance and Twentieth Century through a sampling of literature, musical selections, and art work. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 101 or permission of instructor.
