COMP 210 - Introduction to Microcomputing 3 credits (3 lecture) This course is designed to foster computer literacy. It introduces students to the basics of computing hardware, electronic communication, web browsing, and productivity software. Through a hands-on approach, students will achieve a working knowledge of Windows operating system software and word processing, electronic spreadsheet, presentation, and database application software. Prerequisite(s): Satisfactory score on Reading placement test or “C” or better in ENGL 029 (Developmental Reading) or ENGL 030 (Preparatory Reading).
