Office Administration - Legal, A.A.S.


This program is designed to prepare students for interesting  and challenging positions in law offices, legal departments ofcorporations, and governmental agencies. Students are given a background in business subjects and legal terminology with an emphasis on skill training in keyboarding, computer usage, applications software, and office procedures. Students are also introduced to a course in criminology. A graduate of this program seeks employment as a Legal Office Assistant, Receptionist, Research Assistant, and Office Manager.

b Any Mathematics course that is taken as part of the requirements in any Business Program must be taken concurrently with or prior to Basic Accounting (ACCT 110) or Accounting I (ACCT 201).
