Associate in Science Degree

The program in Business Administration is designed to present the basic foundations necessary for transfer to four-year colleges having typical third and fourth year programs in various Business Administration fields. A strong mathematics background is essential. A graduate of this program seeks employment in a variety of positions including Financial Manager, Credit Analyst, Loan Officer, Administrative Services Manager, and Claims Adjuster, Examiner and Investigator.

NOTE: Courses listed in the first/third semester will be scheduled in the fall; second/fourth semester courses will be scheduled in the spring. The student is encouraged to use the curriculum planner to keep track of courses taken and those still needed. In some cases, one or more courses may be taken in a different order than indicated on the planner. However, individual course prerequisites must be observed.

1 Any Mathematics course that is taken as part of the requirements in any Business Program must be taken concurrently with or prior to Accounting I (ACCT 201).

2 A minimum of 4 credits of laboratory science must be selected as part of the Group III requirement.
