Associate in Arts Degree

The Communications degree is intended for students transferring to a senior institution to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications.

NOTE: Courses listed in the first/third semester will be scheduled in the fall; second/forth semester courses will be scheduled in the spring. The student is encouraged to use the curriculum planner to keep track of courses taken and those still needed. In some cases, one or more courses may be taken in a different order than indicated on the planner. However, individual course prerequisites must be observed.

Minimum - 66 credits

Group II - 12 credits

The Social Science requirement will be met by taking one course each from at least three areas in Group II.

Group III - 8 credits

A minimum of 4 credits of laboratory science must be selected as part of the Group III requirement.
