Computer Information Systems - Network & PC Specialist Option (303A)
Associate in Applied Science Degree

The curriculum provides experience in working with microcomputers and networks, including both systems and application software, and PC networking. Graduates of this program may seek employment as Computer Technician, Data Analyst, Network Specialist or Operator. Employees in such positions would install and upgrade PC and network software and hardware, troubleshoot and correct network communication and printing problems, and assist users in working with the network.

NOTE: Courses listed in the first/third semester will be scheduled in the fall; second/fourth semester courses will be scheduled in the spring. The student is encouraged to use the curriculum planner to keep track of courses taken and those still needed. In some cases, one or more courses may be taken in a different order than indicated on the planner. However, individual course prerequisites must be observed.
