BUSN 213 - Human Resource Management Practicum

1 credits (45 work hours per semester)
This course is designed to provide students in the Human Resource Management (HRM) program an opportunity to apply occupational competencies through projects or work experience in an actual business organization supervised by the instructor and/or work-site supervisor. The student will spend 45 practicum hours at a site involving human resource management. Students may be required by their practicum site employer to sign a confidentiality agreement and/or pass a criminal background check.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of 45 credit hours in the program with a C average and/or consent of the instructor. A minimum of 9 credits from core HR classes must be completed.
