CRIM 125 - Juvenile Justice and Juvenile Delinquency 3 credits (3 lecture) This course examines the major professional, statutory and constitutional issues affecting the professional working within the juvenile justice system. A detailed examination of the way in which juveniles are processed through the court systems and the roles of the police, attorneys, child welfare, probation and the correctional officers are examined. The diagnostic assessment of delinquency, its implications for treatment, and treatment of delinquency are examined.
