PTAP 140 - Functional Anatomy 3 credits (2 lecture, 2 lab) This class is an in-depth study of the musculoskeletal system, with particular attention paid to biomechanics, motion, peripheral innervation, and surface assessment. The class will also cover posture and gait. Motion of the human body is studied as a basis for the recognition of abnormal movement and the potential development of musculoskeletal pathologies. Corerequisite(s): PTAP 122, BIOL 132, or permission from the instructor. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 131, PTAP 135, PTAP 121.
