Certificate of Achievement
This program prepares students for careers in the metalworking trades. Selected courses may be offered at off campus sites. Upon completion, students are prepared for the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Level I skill areas and Level II tests in the Lathe and Mill.
NOTE: Courses are listed in the first semester will be scheduled for the fall; second semester courses will be scheduled for the spring. (This may vary due to industrial training needs.)
The student is encouraged to use the curriculum planner to keep track of courses taken and those still needed. In some cases, one or more courses may be taken in a different order than indicated on the planner. However, individual course prerequisites must be observed. (Course times may vary, due to the needs of local company apprenticeship programs.)
