Instructional Learning Outcomes/Competencies: Technical Trades – Cosmetology Management Option

The student/graduate will be able to:

• Apply the four basic managerial functions to plan, organize, lead and control in a cosmetology environment.
• Apply the law to consumer product and service liability inherent in the cosmetology environment.
• Market cosmetology products and services through advertising and sales promotions.
• Use customer service strategies, and problem solving techniques common in the day-to-day operation of a salon or cosmetology business.
